Assisting doctor Shapiro for many years is his assistant Rose. At the front desk Nancy and Gae are available to help you schedule appointments and keep the office running. We have three different hygienists who each have loyal followings.
Adela has many years of clinical experience encompassing General Practice, Cosmetics, Advance Periodontics and even Orthodontics. She is extremely passionate about her career and even volunteers and organizes community dental events providing pro bono care to the underserved members of our community. When not working with patients, Adela teaches part time to predoctoral students at Nova and is currently working on her PhD in Dental Hygiene!
Isnavy started out with us many years ago as a dental assistant. She went back to school for dental hygiene and has worked in that capacity ever since. She is very caring and friendly and many of her patients are or become good friends of hers.
Nastassia is our latest addition to our Dental Hygiene department. She recently moved to South Florida from New York and is very passionate about her craft. In addition to English she is fluent in Russian some Spanish and some French.
Front Desk Coordinator
Nancy is part of our front desk team but in addition to scheduling and filing insurance she has about 20 years of being a chairside assistant prior to switching to the front desk. Her extensive dental experience is extremely helpful when working with insurance companies to maximize the dental benefits available to patients.
Rose is the most caring dental assistant who is also ensures the office maintains stringent standards of sterilization controls. Her dedication to the safety and comfort of our patients helps to make our patient experience a positive one.
Gae has been working behind the scenes at the front desk for more years than she cares to remember. All the effort to keep things running smoothly is made worthwhile in her opinion by the best patients any office could ask for!!
WHERE ARE THEY NOW
Many of our long time patients may remember two of our much loved hygienists Tara & Everene. Tara retired in 2020 to be closer to her granddaughter in Georgia and Everene retired in 2016 and moved to Orlando also to be closer to her family.
